Affiliate Disclosure

Prepped Gear is independent and reader-supported. When you click a link to a retailer in one of our guides and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra; the retailer pays it out of their margin.

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

We may also work with other retailers or manufacturers' own programs. Where we do, the same rule applies: the commission comes from the retailer, not from you.

Our recommendations are not influenced by commissions. We pick what we think is the right product for the job, then add the link. Our editorial standards explain how we research and select products. If a product we recommend pays no commission, we still recommend it.
